Copyright Policy

1. Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to all users (registered or guest) who upload, create, customize, share, or interact with any content through:

• The Post Karo mobile application
• Any associated Post Karo websites or digital properties

All users must comply with applicable Indian copyright laws and this Policy when using our Platform.

2. Ownership & Intellectual Property Responsibility

• All content (text, images, names, photos) uploaded or created by users using Post Karo tools is user-generated.
• Users are solely responsible for ensuring they hold the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use any photo, image, or name they upload or personalize.
• Unauthorized use of third-party copyrighted content (such as celebrity photos, copyrighted quotes, commercial logos, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
• Post Karo disclaims all liability for such content and operates under the "safe harbour" protections of Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000.

3. Copyright Infringement - Takedown Request

If you are a copyright owner (or legally authorized agent) and believe your copyrighted work is being used or published on Post Karo without permission, you may file a takedown notice.

Your written complaint must include:

• A clear description of the copyrighted work being infringed;
• The exact location/URL within the app or website;
• Proof of ownership or authorization to act on behalf of the copyright holder;
• Your contact details (full name, phone, email, and address);
• A declaration under penalty of perjury that your claim is accurate;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Subject: Copyright Infringement Notice

We will acknowledge the complaint within 36 hours, and if the claim is valid, the content will be removed within 72 hours.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content has been removed due to a takedown notice and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the following details:

• Identification of the removed content;
• Your name, contact information, and a declaration that you consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was wrongly removed;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

If the counter-notice is valid and the original claimant does not initiate legal proceedings within 7 business days, Post Karo may restore the content.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Users who repeatedly violate copyright rules may face:

• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Reporting to legal or enforcement authorities (if necessary)

We log all takedown and counter-notice activity for monitoring repeat violations.

6. Moderation and Filtering

Post Karo is not obligated to proactively monitor or filter all content uploaded by users. However, we may use AI-based screening and manual moderation to detect and manage violations wherever feasible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Post Karo is not liable for any damages or legal claims arising from user-uploaded content, provided we act in good faith and in compliance with applicable takedown procedures.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
